Video: Tomori and Maignan in double Milan disaster

It was a double disaster for Milan in Salerno, as first Fikayo Tomori went down with yet another muscular injury, then Mike Maignan was stunned by a swerving Antonio Candreva strike.

The score was 1-1 at the Stadio Arechi, as Tomori’s opener had been cancelled out by a Federico Fazio header.

However, Stefano Pioli had two massive problems to deal with in the space of 10 seconds.

Tomori went down all by himself clutching his thigh and play continued, with Candreva’s effort prompting a Maignan howler at the near post.

Initial reports suggest Tomori is suffering from a flexor issue and this is by far the most common of the repeated injuries in the Milan camp.

Simon Kjaer had already gone off at half-time following treatment, so Tomori is the 21^st different Milan player to pick up an injury.
