Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik on Saturday announced his marriage with actress Sana Javed through a social media post, amid rumours of his separation with Indian tennis great Sania Mirza. Taking to Instagram, Malik captioned a few pictures from his wedding with Sana. "Alhamdullilah. And We created you in pairs," Malik captioned the post on his social media handles. Malik's announcement has taken the internet by storm.

Malik's manager also confirmed the news of the cricketers marriage to Sana Javed.

Meanwhile, a few days back, Sania Mirza had shared a cryptic story on Instagram. She had captioned the post, saying: "Divorce is hard".

Malik and Mirza had recently celebrated a special occasion. The star athletes' son Izhaan recently competed in a swimming competition and won a medal. Shoaib Malik posted the news on his Instagram account. Izhaan's Instagram account, which is managed by Sania Mirza, also posted images after the swimming competition. 

Sana, on the other hand, a renowned Pakistani actress, had previously been married to singer Umair Jaswal. Both had tied the knot in 2020. The reason behind their separation is unknown.

Mirza and Malik had tied the knot in 2012. The couple were blessed with a boy named Izhaan in October 2018.

Sana Javed is renowned Pakistan film and television actress. She was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 25 March, 1993. Her zodiac sign is 'Aries'.

Sana Javed went to Karachi Grammar School for her primary education, before completing her graduation from Pakistan's University of Karachi. 

She developed an interest in acting at a very young age and always wanted to become an actress.

She made her small-screen debut in 2012 with Mahira Khan's popular show, 'Shehr-E-Zaat'. Later, she went on to appear in many film and serials.

She was married to singer Umair Jaiswal in 2020 at a simple ceremony amid the coronavirus pandemic. But, two months earlier, reports about their divorce emerged.
