The Israel Defence Forces said on Monday morning that the Israeli Navy had hit several Hamas terror squads that were in close proximity to ground forces in the Gaza Strip.

According to the IDF, naval forces attacked a number of buildings that housed Hamas agents. Additionally, the navy attacked locations where Israeli soldiers were being fired upon and mortared by Hamas groups.

In the meantime, an airstrike in Khan Yunis resulted in the death of a Hamas commander by the Air Force. The IDF also said that multiple terrorists carrying a missile were slain in a different airstrike.

Soldiers launched an attack on a structure in northern Gaza that housed Hamas operatives.

On October 7, Hamas attacked Israeli villages close to the Gaza border, killing at least 1,200 people. It is now estimated that Hamas has 129 men, women, children, military, and foreigners in their custody in Gaza.

While Israeli police continue to identify dead and look for human remains, some persons are still missing.
